Letterkenny

Letterkenny is a tv show about a rural town in Canada. The beauty of Letterkenny is in its dry humor and quick wit. The show clips along at a fast pace with the actors barely leaving time for you to process the first joke before they move on to the second joke. With a remarkable cast of characters, some that you hate to love and others that you love to hate, the show is never boring. Each actor fully embodies their character and brings them to life in a spectacular way. The show also boasts some of the best catchphrases of any show, so much so that they have actually begun to invade my everyday speech. With 9 seasons with about 7 to 8 half-hour episodes a season on Hulu, it is a perfect series for binge-watching.

WandaVision

I am by no means a mega-fan of Marvel films, in fact I’d say that most of them are pretty “meh” at best. However, Wandavision has single-handedly reignited my love of Marvel. The story that has begun to unravel in the 4 episodes that have been released so far has been equal parts intensely engrossing and hilarious. As a comics fan, Scarlet Witch has always been one of my favorite superheroes, and after the Marvel films have consistently underutilized such an amazing character for so long, it’s nice to finally see her getting a whole series dedicated to herself. Without spoiling anything, I can confidently say I am very excited for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the characters being introduced by the series, I have high hopes for future Marvel projects.
